Sophia believes not just in the academic progress of the individual but also in the physical, mental and spiritual welfare of the students. In conformity with this belief, yoga was introduced in Sophia by Swami Yoganand of the Athmadarshan Yoga Ashram in the year 2007. Since then, yoga has been an integral part of the curriculum. His work is presently continued by Mr. Ashok D’Souza. The students are taught several beneficial yoga exercises including techniques to improve memory and concentration, alleviate stress and promote overall health and well being.

Learning Laboratory:
The school also has a fully equipped learning laboratory for students with learning difficulties. It also serves as a counselling centre for those students who may be experiencing emotional distress, which is contributing to their difficulty in learning. Students can make use of the extensive facilities available to aid their learning experience.
